Simply duplicate the model instead of creating one, but note that it will copy every setting. Once you have created the model, you can also use it as the template for future quadcopter models. Here you can choose a model template based on the type of aircraft, but there are no multirotor, only glider and plane available at the moment.
Hold down the roller button to select one of the actions. Here you can create and select profiles for each of your model. The other benefit with this method is consistency, as all your quads would have exactly the same radio configurations. So what I personally do is only create a model profile for each RF protocol, and I bind all my quads that uses the same protocol to that profile. Some people prefer to create a new profile for every model they have. To turn on the Jumper T16, simply hold down the power button in the center of the radio for a few seconds.Īlthough you can transfer models from other OpenTX radiosbut I highly recommend creating model profiles from scratch to avoid any conflicts and incompatibility issues. I recommend because they have higher capacity to weight ratio than LiPo. You can either use two cells or a 2S LiPo battery.
Out of the box, you want to install the batteries in the T16 first. If you just bought the T16, you might want to consider flashing OpenTX to the radio before setting it up.įlashing OpenTX for the first time will reset all settings so this saves you from setting it up again. I will explain the every aspect of using the T16, from user interface, software to hardware, as well as beginner to advanced tips and tricks.
This tutorial walks you through how to setup the Jumper T16 radio for the first time.
